I have some "Giant" from welps that I got in Oct. They are def big. They have already outgrown my older hens. They have nice personality and they are feathering out nicely. Of course they are hatchery quality but overall they are nice looking birds. I recommend them. My blue is my favorite.
I raise standard/giant blue, black, splash cochins and they do get REALLY big. My roosters stand knee high and taller to me, and the hens are way bigger than my barred rock and EE's. Mine came from a man that got his start from a man in Tennessee. Mine are the 4th and 5th generation of these birds. I have bred and culled hard for maximum foot feathering, color, and size so I do have some big birds. The hatchery stock tends to be much smaller when fully grown.
