The chick's are on chick feed. They do need grit tho. Is 20% protein too high for the adults??

My son is using whatever Tractor Supply had with 15% protein and cracked corn. I am giving them broccoli and parsley.

Can you post a picture of this bag of feed?

Nope, 20% is perfect. My girls are on a 20% feed themselves

We lost another chicken to pox. So far the 5 left are not showing signs. I bought them some freeze dried shrimp. They seem to love it! I let the biggest chicken Colonel Sanders out.....they're currently living on my son's 4 seasons porch...and she's figured out she can come back in at anytime by just coming to the food to the porch! She doesn't like this stupid heat. Colonel is a Rhode Island red and is my swimming buddy! I was in the pool and dove under water. When I came up she was in the pool swimming towards me! When she saw me come up she turned herself around and went to to steps and hopped out! Cutest thing!!! I told my son if he spelt her name Kernel we could call her popcorn chicken!!! Lol...I know, it's lame!!!

Sorry to hear another bird passed, but i'm glad the rest are doing well! I'd go ahead and vaccinate the remaining healthy birds so they don't get sick if you haven't already
