Welsh gold phase vs silver

So I just got to welsh girls last week and I thought being the one had a dark head that it was a gold phase & the other one was a silver. Well the dark head one is now getting that blue on her wings. So does that mean she is a sliver phase?

If she has blue speculum feathers than she is silver phase. If she were gold phase they would be bronze. Silver phase can be on the darker side sometimes. I have one myself. I thought before I got mine that they would look like the pictures online. Then I learned that those are pictures of the best representations of the breed. There are many more that are pure but they don't exactly fit the standard, just like any animal of any breed. It doesn't mean there is anything wrong with them, they just wouldn't win any shows.

Thanks for the response! Yes she is getting a very pretty blue speculum. Like you said when I looked online she looked nothing like the "normal" WH..but she is sure beautiful!
