they are under a year old both placed well at our local county fair that might not be saying much but hey they are $7ea and i will not ship im not capable of that yet i hate to sell them im only one of a few in my area to have them but i have to make room for my other breeds
positive! i hate getting rid of them i love them had them since they were babies i would keep them if i had the room i might try to find a way to keep them after all
They are not welsh harlequins. They are pied snowy ducks about the size of a campbell. You can tell by the picture that the speculums are broken by white and the neck rings are over-extended into the cheek patches. They have pure white wing tips as well. All part of the patterned white they carry from pied genes.
Heres a picture of our flock from, there are both silver phase and gold phase birds included. Note the neckrings of the drakes they fully encircle the neck but do not extend into the head, like you would find in a pencilled Runner. A lot of these birds are from Holderread breeding, but there is also some LeGerald blood as well as some Ryan Gartman blood, but we've hatched many of these birds so, they are our line.
mine look like that mallards dont have a definate neck ring untill they start they "transition" they start getting green at the bill and slowly make the progression down.....when a mallard is in their duck dress you cant tell where theyre green will end!!! what makes these any different!!!!!
well there is a time and a place for mockery and in front of the whole world isnt the stage i hope i didnt come off as rude there are other circumstances behind my comments
The Op's ducks dont look anything like pied snowy ducks to me. I would take them both if I was closer. I have 7 girls and one 9 y/o drake. My poor magpie and buff practically beg to be mated with but he wants nothing of it. Stinky old geezer
