Welsh Harlequin duck or drake

Hi I was wondering if anyone could tell me if my Welsh Harlequin "ducks"are drakes or ducks? I think I have one drake and two ducks but I am fairly new to ducks so I don't know. I was told that if it has a light or greenish color bill then they are males, but then I read that some females have light bills to so I'm really kind of stuck. And I know that their sounds are different but I don't know how to tell by their sounds because when I looked it up they don't really sound like any I heard. the one that i think is a male has a sort of peepy whisper so I am stuck their too. if anyone can help its appreciated! They are also around 11 weeks old so maybe they will molt soon and change to their adult colors.

I can't help you much, but I do know that the difference in bill color is only when they're a couple days old.

Is that ok do I have to keep the drake in a separate cage/pen? I also have 3 saxony ducks which I think are all girls.

You may get away with keeping the drake with his 2 ladies. You'll have to play it by ear. Generally you need 4 or so ducks per drake. If your saxony are female then they should flock happily together.

Keep him with his ducks unless his desire to reproduce becomes so intense he starts to beat them up. They should be fine together. Mine won't leave each others side.

They are good! I ended up having 1 drake and 5 females, they all get along really well! I lost one early this spring but the rest still are super close. Yours should be fine but just make sure the drake isn't over mating them. Last year I had 3 go broody and the other two were getting really beat up so I had to separate them. But you should be fine
