Welsummer 13 weeks

Hi I wonder if anyone can help me?

We are completely new to raising poultry and purchased two 'hens' a week and a half ago, a Welsummer and a Blue Copper Marans. Although I am now starting to think that the Welsummer is a rooster - especially when comparing to photos online. What do you think? Photo below.

You are correct - it's a cockerel.

Yep, 100% cockerel. You're right on pullets being an entirely different color

Thank you! The poor guy is going to have to go back as we just don't have the space for a cockerel he's just so adorable and well tempered I wish we could keep him!
