Welsummer Bantam hatching eggs

Wow! I can not believe I got those eggs!

The light colored eggs on the left are Welsummer Bantams and ONE dark egg is out of my LF Welsummers.....see the difference!

They will go in the bator tomorrow morning! Wish me alot of luck!

I heard that they would not be as dark as standard welsummer eggs. They will be beautiful little birds though. Good Luck with the hatch

I used to have Barnvelder Bantams and they are the same color as the Welsummer Bantam eggs.

I will use some of the Welsummer LF girls to cross over the bantam roos so I can breed down and get the egg color I need to go for. It would be several generations I am sure!
