These are over a month old. Two cockerals will be for sale. Sorry no pullets!

The pullets are on the right side while the males are near the corners.

Here are the egg colors in the carton...the bantams are on the left half of carton and ONE Welsummer LF egg on the right for comparison.

As for sexing them, I was alllllll wrong, thought I would have four pullets and three cockerals and one questionable sex. Lost two. And I have two pullets and four cockerals. So the sex thing, nope, not working on this one LOL!

I got eight out of the two doz I hatched. There were about two more pipped but died.

Frustrating to hatch them but once you got the numbers, all is well!

I hope you will have a much better hatch than I did!

Let me know how you did! Send pics too!

Today they have their pictures taken. They are now 2 mos and 2 wks of age. they still have alot of growing and filling out to do!

Okay.... I'm kinda new to the whole chicken thing... what does "LF" mean?

I have one Welsummer and I love her so! She is SO friendly and sweet! Is this a breed trait or just an individual chicken personality?

LF means Large Fowl and BF means Bantam Fowl.

Yes that is typical of Welsummers, they must be friendly, not flighty.

I have one LF Welsummer hen and I hope to have more by fall.
