Well I really hope it works out it would be amazing to have some bantam dark egg layers.

I've been looking at this older thread, and am wondering if I am correct in assuming ( I know, I know) that the bantams Wellies don't lay as dark an egg as the LF?

Yes that is correct, they do not lay as dark as LF cousins.
