Welsummer chick?

I have 2 older welsummer pullets, plus 2 welsummer chicks (6/7 wks old)... The one chick got random feathers growing on top of it's head so I named it Top Hat. The colours are completely different from the other chick and my 2 older pullets... could it be a cockerel or what??? (I know the water dish is empty, my youngest plays with it lol)

Buddy I bought them from also had cream legbar chicks. That would totally explain the feathers on the head and the lighter colouring!!! Wonder if it's a pullet

I agree, CL. She’s a pullet. Like Welsummers, Cream Legbar are autosexing and the adults both have different colouring

It is for sure a pullet.
CL have sex specific patterns and thats a female's pattern.
