I have 7 welsummer chickens 17 weeks old. I’ve noticed over the last week or so that some of them aren’t filling their crops at all. They are completely empty all the time. I see them eating during the day. The last 2 mornings cleaning the coop I’m seeing runny poops, I’m assuming it’s from them. They aren’t being bullied away from the feeders. I have separated them to make sure they are eating. Any suggestions? I’m thinking about trying a probiotic?

If you have the option I would separate them out so you can keep a eye on them. It would probably be a good idea to give them some electrolytes. They could have possibly been affected by the summer heat, parasites, or just not getting enough food. But watery poop is often a sign of stress because of heat or worms. (In my experience)

Adding, they area acting completely normal.
