Welsummer colors?

There are lot's of people here that breed wellies. I'm just getting started, so I don't have anything right now, but several others do. Join us on the welsummer thread, and I'll bet you'll get some responses. There's also lots of pictures of our wellies and eggs.

Welsummers come in standard and bantam in the USA and only in the one brown color. In Europe and other countries other colors exist like gray colors and in bantam as well but eggs are lighter.

Umm, to be more specific. . .

Welsummers in the US come only in Partridge, far as I know. Elsewhere you can also find Gold and Silver Duckwings.

Partridge = Gold Duckwing s+/s+ e+/e+; Silver Duckwing S/S e+/e+.
Eggs of both are the same colour, or should be whether large or bantam.

There ARE Silver and Gold Duckwings in the US but uncertain whether they are bantams or LF. I am almost SURE it is bantams. The breeder is in NC but he is working on them. Lovely birds when I saw the pictures but I am not crazy about the colors because it is so "common".

Yes there are many of the Silver and Gold Duckwing Welsummers in the UK. So lovely!
