I'm just really curious what she is.....that dark cape must be a breed characteristic.
Makes me think of a Barnvelder.

I just added to my order coming in next week a Welsummer so we’ll find out Feb/March if I’ll have speckled eggs

Me too!!! I really really want a speckled layer and my only Welsummer has only laid a speckled egg once in the 2 1/2 months she's been laying. Also from Ideal.
