Welsummer Hen with splayed out leg, please advise!

I wanted to provide an update: He leg is still useless, with toes curled and now splayed back. Additionally today her one eye seems swelled shut. I opened it and no puss or anything in it, but it closed right again as I let my finger off.

She still has an appetite and loves food.

I'm sorry that she's not getting any better.
Birds with disease like Marek's often reportedly have a good appetite.
If you happen to lose her, a necropsy would give you more information.

In case anyone was curious, Edith passed about an hour ago. Her legs wouldn't work, she spent her time laying on her side. Today she stopped eating and drinking and then she convulsed and went in my hands.

I buried under the tree and planted a flower over her.

Good burb.
