Good to know which one lays the tan egg. Would you expect #3 to lay white? Here earlobes are not as white as #2 but are light.None are Leghorns, not with those legs. #1 is your tan egg layer.
That is very strange. I don't see anything even resembling Welsummer in those three hens, so I have to think a mistake was made. The chicks would have looked similar because they have basically the same color pattern as Welsummers.I am so stumped. They were sold by a hatchery as Welsummer pullet chicks. Some of the chicks did grow into Welsummer hens.
I bought them last week from a neighbor who had bought them as chicks from Cackle.I agree, not brown leghorn. Wrong leg color.
