You got three Azure Eggers.
Pics? I can give you a gender guess.Well
If that's true, then hopefully the BCM mix I have will be a girl and give me some brown eggs to go with all those pretty blue ones!
Pics? I can give you a gender guess.
Good news, all those Azure girls are girls. For sure.
Neither are looking too cockerely yet.I'm not sure who is who in this grouping.
One of them is a female "sage egger", and the other is an unsexed "cocoa egger". Not 100% on the genetics of the cocoa egger, but based on the other birds the breeder has and my research I suspect it's some sort of BCM/OE mix.
I'm thinking that the blue one is the probably the female sage egger, but the cocoa egger can breed black or blue according to the breeder, so I'm not sure. The black one is hard to get a good photo of because it's such a dark bird.
I've posted a few of them separately and together.
Thanks for any thoughts you have!

I was told mine was Welsummer? She’s about 6 weeks? It is easy to sex welsummer chicks. I read that the females will be darker in color as chicks. Males are lighter color as chicks. Besides the eyeliner on the female. Males have a faint eyeliner. At least ours did last year. As they grow the females turn lighter and males darker in color.
Did you get your chicks from alchemist? I have 5 week old sage eggers, azure eggers, isbar, and a welsummer. Trying to figure out if my welsummer is a pullet. Thoughts?
