Welsummer

I got her and my two d'uccle mille fleur about 3 or 4 wks ago their age was a guess to the man I got them from. She is so small and at the age I was told right not she is around 12 wks.

From her comb size, I bet she is that old. She might just be a petite girl.

She is so nice and I got her for my welsummer roo so I could have some totally cute welsummer chicks next season. her and the two mille are at the bottom of the pecking order cause they are little but my d'uccle roo will protect all 3 when they get picked on I say " look he is protecting his girls". Maybe she will hit a growth spurt cause my roo is 4 1/2 months and big already. What weight are they supposed to be at adult

I don't know how big they should be by weight. Mine is smaller than my red stars and EE's but bigger than my leghorns.

Do you have roos too? are they small? cause mine is the biggest of my whole flock of chickens

No, I don't have any roos. I've found that, even if a pullet starts out small, by the time she's about a year old, she's usually the size of the others her age.

Ok so slow to develope? what age did yours start laying?

i dont have welsummers but the d'uccles will lay around 6 months

Thats what I thought on the d'uccles I have awhile to wait n those girls.
