the welsummers that i have dont grow fast but i will tell you that they seem very smart. Maby by being smaller than the rest of the flock they have to out wit the others..

They run the show in my coop. I have barnevelders, astrolorps, and welsummers. The wellies run the show. They make sure you know it too, quite vocal.
