I am so excited! The gorgeous Welsummer eggs, that I was blessed enough to find at a great price, are due to hatch tomorrow. But........ there is already a pip in one of them

(as you can see in the first picture they are actually prettier than this, but I think the yellow plastic affected the coloring)

I am not sure of the gentleman's name, but he is lives locally. Notice, he is local that means I can get more of these Wellie eggs whenever I want

I started longing for Welsummers when I got the Meyer Hatchery catalog this year, what beautiful hens they are!

I got a shipment of chicks this morning that included, among others, two Wellies! I didn't have a chance to take pictures before I left for work but I certainly will try to get some tonight!
