Welsummers or Barnvelders from Ideal? Egg Color?

I know hatchery birds are no where near the quality of breeder birds....BUT I was thinking of picking up a Welsummer or two, or possibly a Barnvelder from my local feed store who buys from Ideal to add to our layer flock. My husband really likes the looks of them, but I am hoping they at least lay a tad darker than our “normal” brown layers.

Does anyone have either of these breeds from Ideal and mind sharing pics of them and/or their eggs? Or at least if their eggs are darker than say rocks, orps, etc?

I do not have either breed, but in general both Barnevelders and Welsummers lay darker-than-average eggs.
However, the darkness of the eggs are on a hen-by-hen basis and are darker at the beginning of a cycle, and tend to get lighter with age.
Welsummers usually have darker eggs than most Barnevelders.
