Welsummers who has them?

Here are the Welsummers I'm incubating right now from Christie Ritter. They are a deep, rich terracotta speckled brown. The light in the pic has even washed out the color some. They vary in the speckled aspect from egg to egg. One even had no speckles.

Those are Beautiful eggs! Yes, those resemble the eggs I have in color, texture, except the ones I have with the discolored deposits and dried out shells that are very clear. Also except being dirtier than yours, they are similar in color! Hopefully I'll get a little Welsummer or two! If not - I hope to find some new eggs as beautiful as the ones you guys have!
Thanks!

Im not sure about the look of yours, but sometimes a hen will lay an egg that is rough or faded looking or has calcium deposits on it, just depends on what is happening with that hen. Maybe that's all it is with that egg in your pic.

Here's my girls- 2 months old (I'm told they were Welsummers since chickihood)
I hope I get to keep all 4 of them! My husband is building a bigger coop!

They had been flighty for a time, but they've calmed down and love to grab worms from my son's garden shovel. They no longer run away from me when I say "It's time to go to the coop". We dig up worms and say 'Who wants the wiggly worm?" and they come running! I only worry about the whole parasite issue that earthworms and slugs carry. They are the best 'scratchers around the yard thus far, and I love the way they almost honk like geese. They are very vocal, but it's cute! Today I had a pair of them on my lap, petting them while they watched the Barred Rocks eat my hostas. The Welsummers are bigger, but they don't pick fights with the Barred Rocks who act as 'dominant birds'. I just love how pretty the Welsummers are- even my husband commented on them. I look forward to their first eggs.

My worries about my Welsummers eggs are somewhat relieved today! I have at least one PIP right now !

Lots that I got (ebay purchase) were just clear though - they were really clear enough to candle before I ever put them in the bator, but I thought I'd give em a try. I have a sneaky suspicion I put the seller on the spot as they offered to cancel my sale because they had "accidently" forgotten my order (it happens, I'm sure) and put their eggs in their own incubator, and asked if I still wanted the eggs at the shipping date we agreed on - I said I sure did, It would keep my own hatching on schedule, thats when I needed them? So I took what I got - and some of them were really old and weird looking - the rest seem fine. I have 12 eggs left in there, (I finally tossed the totally clear ones) one is pipping now, so fingers crossed theres more! I should have been more patient, I suppose, but I had spent a bit for them already

- I'd really like to try some from someone I could trust for sure? The Welsummers are just beautiful, and have such pretty eggs, too! Fingers crossed here!

I am looking for show/exhibition quality welsummers for my son's to raise for 4-H. We have a few babies now, and would like to add to that stock to get the best by next summer. Anyone out there know of any great breeders? My 4-hr's thank you!

Sorry there arent any show quality Welsummers but a few of us BYCers might have hatching eggs.

Sorry, I dont have any at this moment...will have some early winter or early spring next year.
