I remember a year ago (I think it was) a friend of mine (will let her out herself! hehe) had me send her, I think 200 chicks from a local hatchery. That was a LOT of chicks. She told me to NEVER EVER EVER do that again if she asked me to do it!

Are they the assorted mix breeds they sell at cackle? love the colors and the all fuzzy butts.
when they get bigger and run like that - they'll need a parade permit !!!!

I have 35 chickens and hubby was JUST given 10 bantans .

We have a full run 12 x30 and a coop 8 x12 and I for the LIFE of me could NOT imagine having , housing , feeding watering and caring for your BUNCH .



PLEASE TELL ME THE SIZES YOU HAVE .....................

COOP , RUN , BAGS of DE , BAGS of PINE SHAVINGS , BAGS OF FEED , SIZES of waters , and HOW much patiences ? LOL

OP ~ way to go, seriously! You'll be overwhelmed b/c...well...lots of chicks can smell and they're dusty. hehe BUT I bet it'll end up being well worth it!!!

I think it's great! Sure there are a lot, but you can handle it. Looks like you have a barn, so that's a good start.
