Thanks again everyone! We bought some carrots, have some growing in the garden but they are not ready yet. The store bought carrots she did not eat. Offered her a homemade biscuit too as a treat from just hay, sweet feed and pasture grass. She did not want the biscuit. I guess she is not use to human food, being a rescue farm maybe they just stuck to animal feed and hay.
I went online to email the rescue farm about how she was doing and found a website where some people are saying horrible things about the lady that runs the rescue farm we got Daisy from. That she lets horses starve and is over run with dogs. Even accused her of a taking a dog that was stolen.
We did not see any animals that were unhealthy. All looked well fed and well cared for. All kind of animals came up to us wanting attention. I would think if animal was not taken care of they would not want people around them or to want to come up to you to be petted. We saw 2 dogs and 3 cats, everything else were sheep, goats, donkeys, horses, some cows, couple of bulls, a llama, and some chickens.
Nothing looked sick or skinny, they were well fed. I would think if these things were true I would find something from the state of Ms. too. This was a claim from a individual.
What do yall think? We want to eventually get a couple of mules from her later when she gets some.
