both of you . Good luck too both of you .

Just in identifying my mystery babes. I have some experience on a much larger scale with white leghorns and ducks; but these are my first home flock. I have already found a ton of help regarding my one with pa

sty butt. She is teeny tiny but doing much better this evening. I got three red hybrids (I'm assuming) and three mystery (to me) gray/white black gals with fully feathered legs. The guy at tractor supply had no idea just called them all "breeders choice". The grays are more docile than the reds that seem much more high strung. Any ideas on what breed(s) these are? Thanks, Leslie

Welcome to BYC!

Adorable babies!! And yes, feed stores can be dangerous places this time of year. All that peeping really gets to you when you are pulling chicks out of bins!

Yes, follow the link to the What Breed section here on BYC for lots of good ID.

Enjoy your new babies and welcome to our flock!
