went from no eggs to can't keep up

All this talk of pasta makes me want to break out my pasta machine! I recently went from my bantams laying a few eggs every couple days to whole 18 packs being filled in the same amount of time.

Two of my muscovies has started laying again. One of the ducks has been having some egg problems today which @Miss Lydia has been helping me with, so I expect production to slow. I have over a dozen duck eggs that need to be used!

My standard girls should be overwhelming me with a rainbow basket of eggs soon. Only one has layed so far, but the rest are getting reder by the day!

Those of you who do sell eggs, what do you sell them at? Specifically Muscovy (or duck in general), Bantam Chicken and Standard Chicken eggs.

Friends at church get extra chicken eggs. Duck eggs go to my dogs and to local food bank not many I know specifically like duck eggs but I have seen them places where eggs were 5-6 dollars a dozen.

It depends on the area you live in whether you want to sell or even donate eggs. Some food pantries will not accept home grown eggs. As for selling, prices vary. A friend of mine who lives near Boston will pay me $4 per dozen, however, the farm store near me (50 miles north west of Boston) will buy them from me for $2.00 per dozen. It just depends.

I give my eggs away to people that I know who would need them, or who can't have chickens but love my eggs (my best friend's mom gets so excited when she gets eggs from, she says it's like christmas  ) Donating them to a food pantry is also a great idea.

Your food banks take your duck eggs? The foodbank in my hometown closed their own organic garden because some entitled loser seid the food wasnt approved by the food health and safety board for selling so it wasnt good enough for the food banks

They take eggs here and throw them out. arg.
