went from no eggs to can't keep up

Actually I bought my extruder at Ocean State Job Lots several years ago for $10. Again. not electric but easy to turn the crank. I would check your local discount stores like Big Lots or Job Lots. And no, I don't have a KitchenAid mixer. I was going to buy one last year but discovered the Farberware mixer was $100 cheaper and had a stronger motor. I make a lot of bread and I wanted something powerful enough to handle heavy dough.
I have 2 Craig's list bread makers that I bought for $40 (for both) and I can't tell you how much use I've gotten out of them. I make bagels, bread, pizza dough constantly. I'm so thankful for people who get them for presents and don't want them! :ya

Holy moly, some of you might remember a bit ago I asked about my ducks not laying yet.. then I said they have.
I can't keep up .. I only have 2 females I get like 8 eggs a week and my NH red hen is just giving me eggs almost every day. There is only 3 of us in the house we can't eat so many eggs lol

I am tempted to incubate some, but I have enough work cleaning up after 4 ducks lol

I did make some lemon bundt cake with a duck eggs yesterday. was delish
Be careful what you wish for. :gig:lau

I have 1 duck but I am the only one that really eats her eggs... I can't keep up at all! I think I have 15 eggs in my fridge. Plus I had already given like 6 to my grandmother and tried to pass off some more but she refused them because she's a little allergic to eggs so doesn't eat them often and hadn't finished the first 6. She enjoys not having to buy chicken eggs though since she is allergic to eggs and uses them mostly for baking or cooking grand babies eggs when they're over! Love the food pantry idea. I obviously won't get enough eggs for selling but a food pantry is a great idea!! I will have to go tomorrow!

Once you freeze the eggs in the ice trays when you want to use them do you sit them In The frig to thaw? Sorry if this has already been asked. And do they get watery once frozen and thawed?

I pull my bags of eggs out and place them on the counter While I am mixing up the other ingredients they usually have enough time to defrost. If you need to speed it up just place the bag in a water bath. If you let them completely thaw, they have the same consistency. Can't comment on taste as they are always Incorporated into something.
