I went to candle my eggs tonight... 3 days completed in the bator.. and found my light had burned out.. so I thought for a min.. and wouldn't you know...

The iPhone 4's camera light makes a GREAT candler..lol I have a soft case so the egg can just sit and doesn't allow any light around the egg at all.

A few of my eggs are very porous so I will give them till day 5.. if no eyeball.. out they go.

A couple I couldn't confirm vessels, but 5 had vessel structure.

Wow what a fantastic idea with the phone light!

I have a nokia 63 and it has a light also, just tried it on a brown shelled egg and it lights it up really well

I used to have the moto q9h that I did that with and now the droidx that I downloaded a little program called droidlight and it works really well even on brown eggs. Instead of one led it has two.
