John's place is VERY CLEAN! His breeding coops are really nice and spacious, and looks like they've been cleaned regularly throughout the winter. And that's really something considering how horrible our winter has been! I wasn't able to stay long, so I didn't get to tour his large fowl breeder area. As far as his bantam breeders, I saw AT MOST 4 hens to 1 roo. None of his birds are caged...they're all in big coops. His bantam breeders are in 10x8x8 enclosures...which is a lot of room for 5 (maximum) bantam Ameraucanas.
And of course, his birds were just gorgeous. I definitely plan on buying more from him next year.

Wow. I wish he had pictures of his place on his website. I've heard he's very particular about how he runs things.
