On a whim the wife and I went to the San Diego Fair yesterday.
I found out they had the chickens LAST WEEK!
I missed them. THat was the only reason I wanted to go!.
BUT...
they did have 5 RIR and a bator with hatching chicks!
Also in the kiddie petting zoo they had 30 or so chicks for petting.
This week was rabbits. Hundreds of them. some were HUGE! Big as a medium dog.
I was thinking to myself and sort of said out loud "It would take a week to eat that thing" I thought they were gonna run me out of town on a rail.
I guess I feel the same if someone said that in a room full of silkies.....
