Obviously it could be the hairy appendage the protrudes out above the rear end of a squirrel. Other than that... I don't even want to hazard a guess.

It will actually lean forward a bit over the back of the bird, kind of like a squirrels tail does, thus the name. This is a defect in most breeds except Japanese.
