Let us just say. When I go to open the barn door in the morning, I have to wait just a while to step in. I would say about 50 percent of them come running, flying, walking and all the while telling me "what took you so long bud".

It was a beautiful day today, the 5 birds we decided to keep came out of the nursery and into the barn.

Edited to say:

I have my " thin down " picked out. Eventually these 20 or so will be taken out of the flock.
I mostly know where a good many of them are going.

I'm down to 14 chickens, and I've got 5 ducks. I have 10 ducklings coming in April.

6 araucana (with 3 eggs due to hatch the 28th )
5 standard games
14 silkies
2 polish
2 white leghorns
1 GLW
2 blue ee ( 1 black 1 blue)

Oh i forgot i have a bantam Partridge rock and a Cornish X Oh and 2 pigeons

2 muscovy and 5 geese (soon to have some scovy ducklings and seb goslings from CottageRose

)

With a dozen cuckoo maran , 4 dozen araucana , 16 standard and bantam Ameraucana , eggs in the bator

i have atleast 2 doz eggs in tha bator and 20 chickens running around like crazy theyre all friendly which is good i have 2 standard roos that are great pals and 2 bantam roos ( i just got the 2nd one and its taking forever to get them to accept him poor guy)
