The coop is 3.5 ft x 4.5 ft. Our plan is to use it for no more than 4 birds. The tractor is 3.5 ft x 7.5 ft.
Later, when we are in a position to get a larger flock we are hoping to range them on pasture with some livestock (we have been working out a filtration system so that we can have an earth sheltered coop/greenhouse for the ranged birds to overnight in). Hopefully, if all goes well, at that point this coop will become a layer coop that is situated near our house.
