Just north of Dallas Tx.
My mom and I decided that we think that we should have our 12 year old Collie, Mickey, put to sleep tomorrow.

Last night I noticed that he was unable to get up and even if you helped him up, he would just fall back down. He's not really eating or drinking, so I think he's not really enjoying life anymore. Actually, we don't even think he know's what's going on around him.

I'm so sad! We've had him for as long as I remember, he was always such a good boy! Is nickname has always been Sweet Mickey Boo.

It will feel so different not having him around. I'm going to miss him so much!

I am so sorry to hear about this. It's such a tough thing. They are extensions of our families and will hold a place forever in your heart.

Be strong.

I am so sorry to hear that.

It sounds like it would be what is best for him though. It's hard when our pets are such a big part of our lives to make such a call, but you don't want him to suffer. It sounds like he is ready to go. Stay strong and know that he will forever remain in your hearts and be waiting for you at Rainbow Bridge.

I am sorry to hear about your dog, but it is the greatest gift we can give them release from pain and suffering. I had to euthanize my old dog of 20 1/2 yrs in Nov. she had a great life and she let me know when it was time and now she is over the rainbow bridge. Remember our pets go over the rainbow bridge where they are young again and can play.

I'm so sorry that you have to go through this...

We had to do the same thing last year and it still hurts even I know we did the right thing.
Just know you love him and so you know what's best for him.
It will be very hard no doubt, but you will get through and Mickey will be in a better place where there is no pain and suffering.
I'll be thinking of you guys tomorro

I am so sorry to hear that, we had to do the same thing two years ago. Our dog grew up with my son. They were babies together and best friends. When the vet came out to put her down we buried her in a blanket that she always shared with my son. The vet told us that she would roam the property still and every once in a while we might catch a glimpse of her. You know what, we did! I saw her a few times out of the corner of my eye...
They are always in our hearts.

I am so sorry. That decision is always hard, but it sounds like it will be the best thing for him. My heart goes out to you, friend.
