I feel so sorry for you. Did you have him your whole life? In January of '07, our Brittney that I had my whole life had to be put to sleep after she was hit by a car, and we haven't seen our 12 year old cat who I had my whole life, Rufas, in like 2 months, he is probably gone.

Thanks y'all. My mom and I just got back in from burying him. We picked out a nice, shady spot with trees around right next to the creek that runs through the back of our pasture to bury him. Nupine: Yes, we've had him my whole life, or at least as far back as I can remember. I'm going to miss hearing his "yip, yip, yip" bark. (Even when it was at 2 in the morning.)
