We're gonna make cider!!!!!! Any tips/ideas?

I can't wait 'till we get to start!
But, all I want to know is what kind of apples are good for sweet cider.
Any tips/ideas?

We used them all, also used some pears that were ripe at the time. If you have enough of one type you canseperate and use just one style, but seemed to always have good results with mixing them.

I would think Macintosh are good for most things.
