We're having some roost problems..

a chickens natural instinct leads it to roost as high as possible to avoid predators.
these chickens may not like the lowness of this coops roosts.
aside from removing the preferred roost and leaving them no alternative but the coop roost would be my only solution. they may start roosting on the top of your little coop if they can or seeking another spot to their liking.
 
Our coop is a plastic coop. The brand is snap-lock. It has some short 1-by-1 legs about half a foot off the ground.

...and those coops are invariably too small and under-ventilated.
