I'm like you, can't have roosters. I did try a rooster collar on one lately. An EE. I kept him from crowing so often, only a few times in the morning and that was it, and he was being .. well.. a rooster with the girls. :) Then, he decided to give it his all. The collar worked quieting him down, only a little bit. Had to place him. They say to keep trying, that the collars work better on some than others. I have eggs in the bator now from him. I'm excited. My first very own eggs. The collar is supposed to keep them from taking a deep enough breath to let out a long drawn out very loud noise. Like I said, works..sometimes. :)

Where did you get your collar? I have a Delaware.
