A year and a half ago we built a small coop to house our 4 chickens.

Since then we moved onto our 50 acres and began living off grid. We accumulated 33 more birds along the way so started work on a multi function coop/shed that alos serves as a mount for our solar and to collect rain water. The shed, up slope, is 14x12 and the coop, with the large window, is 8x10

    Everyone pitched in...

Well it is looking awesome and I admire your decision and ability to live off the grid!! We live without TV, Internet or Microwave. Most people think we are a little "off" because of that. [IMG] We say, we don't need those things or to pay for them. Plus, I cheat and use the Internet while I am at work. (like now!) So again, my hat off to you. Enjoy your blessed life and your wonderful new coop when you get it done. Can't wait to see pictures! [IMG]
