Hi all,

We got some ducklings at the beginning of April and we have found we need to move this September. They are docile and friendly and used to being relatively free-range here in NJ, where we have a few acres and a stream (they sleep in a shed at night). They like to go on walks with us and tolerate my eight-year-old daughter picking them up. The drake has begun to try to mate with the Cayugas, but they are bigger than he is so it hasn't been too much of an issue. We'd like to try to rehome them as a group if possible, though I have learned over the past few months that drakes are harder to rehome than females. We'd prefer to keep them as long as possible over the summer, and are willing to supply the new owner with a few month's worth of food and supplies!

Awww, what sweet and pretty ducks! If I were closer I would be happy to have them join our flock. Good luck!

They are such sweet goofballs. I've actually gotten a good response with a local ad I posted, and I am meeting up with folks to see who might have the best home. Everyone is a new duck owner, though....
