I almost came went home with fantails, but none were banded(already have 17+ un-banded birds), and one cage i looked at, the fantails had dried blood on them. Your son made out like a bandit. And I'm glad someone good took him home. Shawn was actually talking me into that exact bird.
thats funny, we really didnt want another pigeon but he wanted it and we were so happy to have our son come with us that we bought it. glad you didnt, who knows what his second choice would have been!

What a beautiful bird! Thankfully, I don't have the setup for pigeons, quail, pheasants or anything like that. Also probably wouldn't be married any longer either.
See we would have not made it home without some either. Just need to tell her she needs to save her money for sturbridge. She would like a couple more Warsaw's, and of course Fantails too.

Did Mario get the pigeon from Tom?
It looks just like the ones I got from him.
I love the birds he has sometimes, just me being dumb putting them in a carrier that was too short for the tail stance. ugh. next time I bring that nice acrylic carrier I picked up.

well darn, had I know there were more fans up there I would have likely come home with more than just 2 lol.
I think I am going to sell of my cal king whites and keep the fans and runts only. I am finding like with rabbits the bigger the bird the more I am facinated by them.
Of course with the Satinettes they will be house birds only that pair is going no where.
