No, I guess there was an incident with these pups at a swap , I dont know the whole story, dont really want to know,
what I do know is the pup was severely underweight, loaded with parasites and covered in fleas.
My vet said as soon as he is healthy enough and up to decent weight he can be neutered NOT until.
Beast is still growing and it will be at least another month before my vet will neuter him.
Oh get this One vet I contacted for a quote for neutering a now 3 lb chi came in at darn near $400.00 and that was with out the lyme work up and preventative.
didnt walk from that vet I ran like heck, if its four hundred for a Chi can you imageine what it would cost for a Malamute?
my vet is going to do them both for well under that.
I can see why people choose not to neuter and spay, who can afford it?
The other two Chihuahuas that came from the same place,I took for Shay and they had the same problems. I did bloodwork on them, did all testing, all came out fine and negative except parasites they both gained weight and I neutered them both and gave them all shots and dewormed them and placed them in new homes. They are doing great
I saw all 3 of those dogs and let me tell you the other 2 were in much better shape and condition than the one I kept was.
this little guy is taking for ever to gain weigh, though he has gained a good amount, at least he doesnt weigh a pound and a half anymore.
