Westford, MA swap Sun. ****april 11TH

its hard to say what will be at this swap, always a good turnout

I guess I will take my chances and show up anyway. Just wanting to get some older girls, they don't have to be BO but I'm kinda partial to them.

They've just finished molting so I think the curl hasn't grown back yet. No eggs either, so I think it's a boy. They're a year old.

It's a lot of fun. The variety of birds offered has been different each time we've gone, so you never know what you'll find.

i am so sorry you have decided to get out of chickens. i wish you wouldnt give up something you enjoy over a few sour grapes

Same here. I wish you would keep some of your birds. What kind of tropicals will you have?

I think I can come. May bring 2 drakes if anyone is interested. They've always been together. No idea what breed. Named Ed and Fred.

Cindy is that your pond. Oh boy do you need a few more Ducks, can help you with that

The Males are just not coloring out well this year at all. Sarah's Gray Calls have had no color all summer, talked to other breeders and same with them too, hardly any colored males at any of the shows.

We may try this one too, just to look. Will bring the car, not the Tank

So no room for extras..

Unfortunaetly not. It's a friend's pond and the ducks were just dumped there along with 3 bantam chickens.

If we had a pond like that I'm sure the kids would have had it full of ducks by now!

the tank, thats funny and probably true! the swap at this location is run by another group totally different crowd. its held the first sunday of every month except july and aug due to the heat.

Chickn, I've just visited your web site....Are you planning on bringing any Favorelle's that are laying? My flock consists of 1BO and 2SLW it might be nice to add some variety with your beautiful Favorelle's.

Look at the one with the green head, the curls are huge and definately set.
the one with the brown head on the other hand doesnt appear to have curls.
big ducks dont generally lay eggs the first year. come Feb or so if thats a hen there will be eggs.
I would have your friend look at the tail feathers again, to be sure it isnt a pair and not 2 drakes.

It actually isn't too bad about 18-20 MPG, but the car gets about 31 MPG so every little bit helps, when you see this childs Christmas wish list

To my surprise there are NO birds on it, probably because she knows she pretty much gets them anytime she wants.

Yes, have heard of these before some of our Poultry club members have mentioned it, we just never have made the trip. Thinking about Joining too, checked out their site and looks interesting, can never have enough bird stuff to do
