At least I have Katherine and I'm not completely outnumbered.

It hasn't completely put me off hatching yet. Twenty six Sussex eggs go in today.

Your parents didn't keep having kids until they had a girl, did they?? I know someone whose parents did want a girl, and had 6 boys first.

I don't think I'd want that many brothers!!

First I have to see if I can hatch any.

The boys have been slow to figure out what to do besides crow. They do that well.

Actually, i'm in the middle---4 older brothers and 3 younger brothers. They knew how to make life

Things like chasing me with big slimy frogs just to hear me scream blue murder. My mom says she was done after me, but she had a few...erm...surprises. My younger brothers are quite a bit younger and really spaced out. I wanted a sister SO BAD, but at least now i have my own baby girl who is the light of my life!

i'm definitely done---and my 3 boys do NOT want me to catch them chasing their sister with frogs---they will rue the day of their birth!

I always said i was tired of being in the minority at my house, so you can imagine how happy i am to be in the majority now---that finally happened when i bought hatchery-sexed pullet chicks!
