Westford, MA swap Sun. ****april 11TH

Sellers have always needed a certificate. I think the rules for sale were posted in the most recent newsletter so everyone would know what they are, as a reminder. I'm away at the moment and haven't seen the newsletter so I'm not sure what's in it.

I also need to get my birds tested, so you aren't the only one! I won't have anything until spring too.

Is anyone going to have Javas, Chanteclers, large breed standard Speckled Sussex, or large breed standard Australorps at this sale?

While I'd like to go to say hi to everyone I feel lousy so I'm going to skip this one. Have fun all!

That's what I figured. Besides, this way I have another month to figure out if I want to keep my crazy Langshan pullets.

At the last meeting concerns were voiced over non memebers selling with out benifit of membership and NPIP certificates.
No one was checking for sick birds or animals, They are now going to be stepping up protocal to include asking for proof oh NPIP.
Which they should have been doing from the very begining.

If you plan to sell its always a good idea to have a current certificate of health.

I haven't started selling yet, not sure if I am going to either, seems like we keep everything that hatches around here, so I have time to get that all done.
I am a member but I thought non members could sell, or is it buy? They should make everyone where their name tags during the swaps so you can tell who is who.
It helps for everyone to know who is selling what and if there is a problem who to contact.
