Wow! I don't get grossed out easily but those pics were kinda sick

. Even worse is that I had a hen just as bad. I was completely shocked how well she has begun to recover. She could not see for about 5 days and now she can see again and everything spooks her, even the cat. I think next year I'm going to buy the pox vaccine. I think it's only good a week after it's opened, is that correct? I'd rather buy a bottle a year than deal with what I've been seeing these last few weeks on my show chickens.

It's great seeing the before and after pictures, you've done such a great job.

I've never heard of anyone's back yard chickens getting pox over here, maybe I should read up and learn where they come from. At least I know what to do now if the problem ever arises!

Maybe you don't get pox there because it's too cold for mosquitoes?
