WET COOP Floor HELP!!!!!!!!!

Quote:
Uh oh, please DO NOT waste your time and money doing that - sheetrock (drywall) WILL NOT hold up in damp conditions, particularly not for a floor that gets walked on - it will turn to mush. Mush that the chickens could eat and get sick from, in fact.

At least use OSB or something.

Good luck,

Pat

Can you put a trench in the concrete just outside the coop wall to catch the water and divert? also, what about eves trough? Might that help divert some water as well?

I can't see where anyone has suggested just moving that chicken coop.

If it were ME...id put a wall on that coop all the way around and caulk the hell out of it on the floor....at the very least. Moreover, i would try to put a slope on that slab somehow.
