Hi Everyone,
I have 4 peeking ducks, and one of them is a little wobbly on her legs. She always seems to kind of roll back on her feet and then just sit down. It is because of this, she can't seem to oil herself or properly dry/clean her feather. When she goes in the pool with the rest of the ducks, she has no problems hoping in or out but i have to keep a close eye on her because she gets soaked and starts to sink. I have cleaned her oil gland and it wasn't clogged or anything, but i think because she is so unstable on her feet she can't seem to get to her oil glad and do what she needs to.
She doesn't seem to have any other problems getting around or getting to her food or water but i always feel so bad for her because she always gets so dirty and can not stay in the pool very long with the other ducks.
I am at a loss of what do to. Is there anyway i can oil her for her? a special spray of some kind to help keep her oiled and clean? I appreciate any thoughts or advice!
Thank you
