Interesting. It says Chick Grit but on the back it also says "suitable for adult birds".

Adult birds can eat it but it won't do much grinding.
Chick grit is about 1/16", #2 grit is about 3/16" and suitable for up to 6-7 weeks.
Adult grit is #3 size and is about 5/16".

You do know chicks don't need treats and treats are supplanting the optimal nutrition in the feed.
They can find grit when foraging depending on what is available on the ground.

It depends on what kind of rocks are in your yard/soil. Personally, I would go grab a bag of adult grit and put it out in a big bowl. Maybe even mix it with the chick grit. I like to err on the side of knowing they have access to the good stuff, because otherwise you're wasting feed value, if they aren't digesting it as fully as they could be.

I know they don't need treats. I read a big article on providing treats to teach them to come to you and to make positive associations. So I have been trying that on occasion. I am new to this, but I'm also very careful and extremely obsessive with doing the right thing. Learning as I go, as well, of course.
