Wet silkies?

This may be a stupid question, should silkie be out in the rain ( I live in Florida), or do I need to put them in their house?

If they are not bothered by it mine like slick back their feathers play elvis I guess

I think that you would probably have to dry them off and then put them in their house. The silkie girl's can't see well with all of the fluff covering their eye's.

I would put a roof on it. Silkies are small and if you have any flying predators around there, you wouldn't want them to fly right down and grab your silkies.

I definitely am going to make the run completely closed in, just wasn’t sure if in needed a sold roof or just chicken wire...?

Hawk's can dive bomb to get their prey, so just make sure that your roof will be able to hold.

Do they need food and water in their house at night? My ducks don’t, but not sure about chickens...
