We just went and picked our flock up today and one of the birds was a poor, hen-pecked little barred rock. When I was transferring them from the crates to the isolation cages, she escaped. She is so nervous and afraid that any attempt I make to get near her just forces her further away.

I don't know if she considers herself a flock with the other birds. Will she return to them this evening even though she only spent like 2 mins with them on our farm? I am terrified that she is lost forever or will be eaten on her first day! Please help! How can we woo her back?

Maybe try food, something she can't refuse (bread, scratch etc). Or try herding her from behind into some sort of enclosed area. Tough with her being so new. Good luck
